UAE stock markets close Thursday in green

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s trading session higher by 31.32 points (0.71%) at 4,421.52 points.

A total of 178.41 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 372.55 million.

Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 94.61 million, while Drake and Scull International (DSI) was the most active stock with 42.16 million shares.

Takaful Emarat Insurance led the gainers with 4.41%, whereas National Cement Company headed the decliners with 8.85%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.824% to 9,500.22 points.

The turnover stood at AED 2.51 billion through the exchange of 750.95 million shares, while the market cap value reached AED 2.90 trillion.

Apex Investment was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 132.81 million shares exchanged at AED 526.08 million.

Al Buhaira National Insurance was the top riser with 15%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials headed the decliners with 9.95%.
