Tesco urges shoppers to follow 'simple hack' before end of Monday

Today is last chance for Tesco customers to sign up to Delivery Saver and get priority Christmas slots which open TOMORROW. A simple hack gives customers a week’s head start to secure a coveted festive delivery slot, Tesco has revealed.

There is still time to sign up for a Delivery Saver plan until 11:59pm tonight and secure early access to online slots for the festive period this year, before slots open for all Delivery Saver Anytime and Delivery Saver Click+Collect customers at 6am tomorrow - a week’s head start.

Slots then open for all other customers on 12 November at 6am, which is one week earlier than last year. The benefits of Delivery Saver aren’t limited to Christmas – Delivery Saver is Tesco’s subscription-based delivery service designed to help reduce the cost of regular online grocery orders, with a range of plans running for 6 or 12 months and starting from just £2.49 a month.

The plans mean any orders will be delivered to you or available through the Click+Collect service at selected stores. The possible annual saving is based on a 12-month Anytime Delivery plan at £6.99 a month versus one weekly delivery costing £4.50.

A minimum basket applies and it excludes Whoosh. Extra slots are a mixture of Home Delivery and Click & Collect slots available across the UK. Slots are subject to availability and the latest slots to Christmas Day will either be on 23 December or 24 December for Delivery and Click+Collect depending on your location.

Customers also earn Clubcard points on their Delivery Saver subscription - and you can use Clubcard vouchers to cover the cost of the Delivery Saver plan too. om Denyard, Managing Director of Tesco Online said: “As we help customers plan ahead for their Christmas shop this year, we want customers to know that time is running out to sign up for a Delivery Saver Anytime Plan and benefit from festive priority slot bookings which go live tomorrow morning.
