Martin Lewis' MSE urges Tesco shoppers to 'make a small purchase' this week
by James Rodger, https://www.facebook.com/jamesrodgerjournalist · Birmingham LiveMartin Lewis and his Money Saving Expert team have urged Tesco Clubcard holders and customers to "check now". The MSE founder says Tesco Clubcard vouchers were first issued in November 2022 and will no longer be valid to use after midnight on November 30.
MSE explained: "Make a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards page (not in store or on other Tesco pages) or donate to one of its partner charities. The remaining balance is credited back to your Clubcard account as points. So if you spend 50p using a £5 Clubcard voucher, you'll get 450 points back (worth £4.50).
"You can then swap your points for vouchers manually or wait for them to be converted with your next statement. The expiry date for these new vouchers will be two years in the future. There's no minimum spend, but the aim's to shell out as little as possible.

"A good option might be a 50p restaurant voucher (worth £1 at your chosen restaurant)." It comes after it emerged Tesco has partnered with some of the UK’s leading healthcare companies as part of a new store concept that gives customers easy and convenient access to even more high-quality health services – all while they shop.
Customers in the refurbished Cheshunt Extra store will soon be able to get advice, treatment and virtual GP appointments for a range of health concerns in Tesco’s first ever dedicated health zone. The new pilot store concept brings together food, health and wellness ranges, alongside enhanced pharmacy and healthcare services, to make it easier for customers to manage all aspects of their wellbeing in one place.
This builds on Tesco’s existing in-store pharmacy offer which serves half a million customers every week across 365 UK pharmacies located in larger Tesco stores, providing everything from flu jabs and NHS Pharmacy First services, to free blood pressure checks and free advice on cancer, heart disease and diabetes supported by Tesco health charity partners. As part of the wider healthcare offer, further information will also be available from the health charity partners, initially focusing on heart health advice from the British Heart Foundation.
