You may know about Amazon's annual Prime Day deals that see, for 48 hours only, the price of top selling items drop to the lowest of the year. What you might not know, is even though Prime Day happens in the summer, the retailer is also bringing shoppers another 48 hours of mega deals just in time for Christmas, the Amazon Prime Big Deal Day - and it's set to happen on the 8th-9th of October 2024, starting at 12am BST.

To allow shoppers to get in some early Christmas shopping, the 48 hour event allows Prime members to shop 'exciting' deals across popular categories. Already confirmed are products from bestselling brands including LG, Sony, Bose, Shark, and Tefal with hundreds more expected on the day - to secure your spot and sign up to Amazon Prime, click here.

Also confirmed, are the 'lowest prices of the year so far' on selected products from popular brands: Stanley, Barbie, and Silentnight. Only Prime members will get access to these savings and shoppers are racing to sign up in time.

If you're a fan of an early deal, Amazon has cut the price of some bestsellers ahead of Prime's Big Day Deals. These offers are only running for a limited time, so you will need to be fast.

For example, the Remington Keratin straighteners have been cut by a mega 71%. At the time of writing, shoppers can bag the Amazon's Choice hair styler that 'heats up in seconds' and 'protects hair from damage' for £34.99 instead of the usual £119.99.

Also cut in price, is the Amazon's Choice Wireless Earbuds with Bluetooth, now £16.98 from £49.99 - a massive 66% saving. Available in eight different colours, these headphones promise 56 hours of playtime, featuring a 'premium deep bass stereo sound' and 'crystal clear call' thanks to the 80% passive noise cancelling technology.

For 44% less than usual, Amazon's Fire Stick is also on offer right now for £24.99 from £44.99. The latest release of the 'best-selling streaming device' is back and this time, 50% more powerful than the previous 2019 release.
