Amazon shoppers race to buy its number one bestselling Scottish whisky as its slashed by almost 40%

With the festive season just around the corner, Amazon shoppers are rushing out to buy the online retailer's bestselling malt whisky as it's slashed in price to replenish their drinks cabinet. Right now, a 70CL bottle of the Glenlivet Founder's Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky is available with a massive 37% discount.

That brings the total price down to £24.78, offering a saving £14.75. The 'timeless' drink boasts over 8,300 five-star reviews on Amazon and it's not hard to see why.

The delicious drink has been matured in traditional American first-fill oak casks to create a smooth, creamy sweetness that mingles harmoniously with the delicate flavours and complex fruity tones already present in the brew. The whisky has notes of zesty orange, pear and toffee apples to give a 'long, cream and smooth finish'.
