Jet2 announces Manchester Airport new route to 'hidden gem' winter destination with 'magical' Christmas Markets

Jet2 has today announced the launch if a new destination for the winter season from Manchester Airport. Flights to the Slovakian capital of Bratislava are available to book now.

The operator of European city breaks has responded to strong demand from UK holidaymakers looking to explore a new cities and enjoy a festive getaway this winter, by expanding its network with the new flight. As well as flight options, Jet2 is also offering Christmas Market packages to the destination.

City break packages have gone on sale to Bratislava from Manchester Airport from 18 October to 19 May, 2025, and flights will operate to Vienna Airport, with twice weekly services (Monday and Friday) available from Manchester Airport during this time. From there, customers will take a quick hop over the border where they will then have the bright lights of Bratislava to discover as they wish.

As well as museums, castles, theatres to uncover, at this time of year, magical markets come to town over the Christmas period, so holidaymakers can get their festive fix and then some.

Customers looking to enjoy a festive getaway in the countdown to Christmas can book a Christmas market trip to Bratislava from Manchester Airport in November and December 2024. Additional flights will operate throughout these months.

In total, nine city break destinations are available for Winter 24/25 from Manchester Airport via Jet2. These include Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Bratislava, Rome, Krakow, Prague, Venice and Vienna) and eight Christmas Market favourites - Cologne, Berlin, Budapest, Bratislava, Gdansk, Krakow, Prague and Vienna.
