IT giant Infosys posted a 5% rise in consolidated net profit in the second quarter of the ongoing financial year at Rs 6,506 crore, compared to Rs 6,212 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations for India's second-largest software services company also grew by 5% year-on-year, amounting to Rs 40,986 crore.

The company has revised its FY25 revenue growth forecast to a range of 3.75% to 4.5%, up from the earlier guidance of 3-4%. The upward revision comes on the back of the ramp-up of mega deals, which are expected to significantly contribute to the company’s topline in the coming quarters.

The Bengaluru-headquartered company has also declared an interim dividend of Rs 21 per equity share.
