Tesco has issued a recall for its Finest Six All Butter Pastry Mince Pies due to the potential presence of small pieces of dry glue from the packaging, making them unsafe to eat.

The supermarket posted the warning on its website and the Food Standards Agency (FSA), urging customers not to consume the product. The affected batches have best before dates of 04/10/2024, 26/10/2024, 02/11/2024, and 10/11/2024.

Tesco advised customers who have purchased the affected product to return it to any Tesco store for a refund, with no receipt required. Customers can contact customer services on 0800 50 5555 for further information.

In other recall news, Waitrose has recalled its Easy to Cook Salmon En Croute 350g and Easy to Cook Salmon and Sweet Potato Curry 500g due to undeclared allergens including milk, wheat, soya, and mustard.
