YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. – A New Hampshire woman suffered burns on her leg after hiking off trail in Yellowstone National Park and falling into scalding water in a thermal area near the Old Faithful geyser, park officials said.

A hiker was airlifted to hospital with burns from “scalding water" while walking off-trail at a thermal area at Yellowstone National Park on Monday, the National Park Service said.
