Subzero temperatures first time this season in Latvia

Frost was present at grass level in all regions Monday morning, but at two-meter altitudes, where air temperature measurements are made, the air has cooled below 0 degrees in some places, mostly in Vidzeme. By 6:00, the lowest temperature in the LVGMC observation network was in Zosēni, where it was -0.7 C, and in Rūjiena, where it was -0.1 C.

The day will be sunny, rain is not expected, the wind will be slow, from the east, northeast. Maximum air temperature +11 C to +15 C.

In Rīga, it will be sunny, with a gentle breeze. Maximum air temperature +13 to +14 C.
