Greater Manchester weather this weekend with temperatures of up to 24C

Greater Manchester is in store for an unseasonably warm weekend as temperatures could reach up to 24C.

Saturday (September 21) is expected to be the hottest day with the Met Office forecasting sunny intervals with some clouds in the evening. But temperatures are set to remain in double digits throughout the weekend, with a 'lowest possible' temperature of 10C.

Manchester can expect sunny intervals for most of Friday (September 20) with temperatures peaking at 19C from around 2pm until 5pm. The chance of rain remains low throughout the day, but it is expected to be overcast in the morning with some clouds later on.

The warmest weather will be on Saturday (September 21) when temperatures are 'most likely'' to be 21C at around 4pm with the 'highest possible' temperature predicted by the Met Office being 24C. However, it will turn partly cloudy by the early evening.

Sunny intervals are also expected on Sunday (September 22), changing to cloudy by lunchtime. Temperatures are set to reach 19C by 4pm in Manchester with a 'highest possible' temperature of 23C and a 'lowest possible' temperature of 10C after the sun sets at 7pm.

The Met Office forecast is broadly the same across different parts of Greater Manchester this weekend.
