Yankee Candle lovers snap up gift set in 'better than half price' Debenhams Black Friday deal

Debenhams has launched its Black Friday event ahead of schedule, joining other retailers such as Lakeland, Boots and Superdrug in offering hefty discounts. The store has cut prices by up to 85 per cent on a whole range of items, with the Yankee Candle Signature WOW Gift Set being one of the standout bargains.

Now priced at just £24.50, it represents a significant saving of 51 per cent - from the original £50 tag. The set is brimming with seven festive fragrances, including three wax melts in Holiday Cheer, Magical Bright Lights and Red Apple Warmth.

There's also three mini votive candles in Black Cherry, Sparkling Winterberry and Shimmering Christmas, topped off with a medium signature jar candle in White Spruce and Grapefruit, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

Purchasing the medium jar alone from the Yankee Candle website would cost £24.99. Described as 'refreshing and vibrant', the White Spruce and Grapefruit candle melds grapefruit and citrus notes with seasonal fir needle and balsam, while vanilla bean and musk provide a warm, comforting undertone for a festive ambiance that's both calming and cheerful.

Although there aren't many reviews on the Debenhams site for the Yankee Candle Signature WOW Gift Set, those who have taken the time to share their thoughts are full of praise. One customer remarked: "Really nice selection of candles all with winter aromas."

Another added: "I always purchase Yankee Candle Christmas gift sets, this year's one, is as good as the last few years. Unbelievable price, didn't want to wait to order it, in case it sold out. Highly recommend."

However, one shopper found the Yankee Candle gift set less than impressive, awarding it three stars and noting: "Was ok. I was a little disappointed. The package was messed up so not suitable for a gift. Products were ok."
