Dunelm is selling a £28 heater which shoppers say is "better than putting the heating on." The retailer offers its shoppers a huge range of products - from home decor to DIY essentials - but, most people also love the store for its massive selection of items designed to help keep you warm as winter quickly approaches.

Brits have been warned to brace for icy conditions in a matter of days that signal the start of cold weather conditions settling in. Many households are already vowing to keep their central heating use to a minimum due to high energy bills.

To keep the cost down, lots of people look at alternative ways to quickly and cheaply heat their homes. One idea is to invest in a small electric heater, offering targeted warmth as opposed to flooding your whole house when it might be wasted.

Dunelm has dozens of these heaters on offer, but one has rave reviews from shoppers as being "the best winter buy." The 2000W Convector Heater costs £28 to buy but runs at a rather energy efficient 45p per hour

The unit is easy to set up, simply plug it in and switch on. It comes with three adjustable settings depending on how much heat you want. The device has a carry handle, making it easy to swap and change what room you set your personal heater up in.

Dunelm has a huge selection as part of its 'Cosy Zone' including loungewear and the popular teddy fleece material range. Alternative heaters can be bought from other shops. One option is Argos' Challenge 2kW Convector Heater for £30 or Amazon's Geepas 2000W Convection Heater which is also priced at £29.99.
