Dunelm shoppers spot 'bargain' £25 mirror that 'looks more expensive'

Unless you selected the silver option online, you probably wouldn't know this deal existed. But, some shoppers are refusing to gatekeep the price cut

Dunelm is a popular homeware store that many people in the UK use regularly when renovating and decorating their houses. It often has lots of deals available to customers, making shopping more affordable.

Some Dunelm shoppers are quite savvy and can spot some seriously good deals. One of the latest finds was shared by a customer in Facebook's popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK page.

They claimed that Dunelm's £24.50 Essentials Round Wall Mirror (70cm), which has a 30% price cut currently, is a 'great' deal. They also claimed they have "seen similar ones elsewhere for up for £40".

Other retailers, like Amazon, are selling 'lookalike' round mirrors too - like the Trintion Round Mirror costing £38.99 for a 70cm version.

Online, Dunelm's reduced Essentials Round Wall Mirror is described as "perfect for any home decor". The store suggested the "classic round style has been made with a strong frame in a gorgeous timeless colour".

However, the current 30% off price cut only applies to one certain style. When you head to the site, it needs to be the silver option you pick if you want to discount.

The white, grey, black and gold options are all still full price at £35. A similar version of the mirror (75cm) is on sale Dunelm for £60.

People have claimed the mirror is "excellent quality" and worth the money if you're looking for a quick and inexpensive refresh. It has hundreds of five star reviews on the Dunelm website.

One said: "Brilliant value for money. Great mirror and quite lightweight for the size." Another added: "Really good quality. Robust and looks more expensive than what it cost."

A third said: "Lovely mirror at a bargain price. Really happy with it." Someone else wrote: "Beautiful mirror! Very smart and a lovely addition to the home."

A fifth commented: "I bought a much more expensive one from elsewhere for my bathroom and thought I would try this as it was so much cheaper. I wasn't disappointed, it looks great in my bedroom and is well worth the money!"

However, some did claim they had issues. One shared: "Mirror looks great but the back supports are rubbish."

Another said: "Mirror is good size and looks lovely, but is let down by the fixings. On the back there are just two flimsy metal hooks held onto the plywood by the smallest of screws - one of which pulled out straight away!"

You can find mirrors that are a similar size and shape to this at other stores too. Argos has a £25 Round Wall Mirror - but it only comes in black - whilst B&Q sells a 70cm Round Wall Mirror that's suitable for the bathroom for £45.99 but this is also just in black.
