Travel lovers are in for a treat as there has been a big announcement from the European train company, Eurostar.

Eurostar has announced a huge three day sale to celebrate the company’s 30th birthday, with discounted trains to popular city break destinations.

The train company is giving customers a whopping 30% off when travelling to Paris, Lille, Brussels, Amsterdam, or Rotterdam in Eurostar Standard, Eurostar Plus or Eurostar Premier.

To be eligible for the sale you must be travelling to one of the above cities from London between the dates of 26 November 2024 and 13 February 2025.

For customers to benefit from the discount, you must buy your tickets before midnight on Thursday 14 November, just two days away.

Customers don’t need a discount code to book and the sale only applies to adult tickets.

For European getaways, the Eurostar can be an efficient and cost-effective way to travel, as long as you can get to London first.

Eurostar trains can reach speeds of up to 300 km/h on high-speed lines in France and Belgium, meaning the journey from London to Paris or Brussels is only around two hours.

If you are conscious of your carbon footprint but still want to travel, catching the Eurostar is a sustainable option. Getting the train between London and Paris produced up to 90% less carbon emissions than a flight.

In the 30 years since its inception, the Eurostar has carried over 200 million passengers. Other Eurostar destinations include Calais, Antwerp among other more seasonal locations.

Be quick! Because the sale will end on Thursday (November 14) at 10.59pm.
