Debenhams has significantly slashed the prices of several popular beauty products in anticipation of Black Friday and Christmas. If you're on the hunt for gifts for makeup enthusiasts, Debenhams' latest sale might be your best bet.

The retailer has cut the price of its makeup organisers and display boxes by up to 78 percent. It has also dramatically reduced a pack of professional makeup brushes from £55 to a little more than ten quid.

Debenhams' Cosmetic Makeup Storage Organiser Skincare Display Box Case With Portable Handle was originally priced at £94. However, it is now available for just £20.36, saving shoppers more than £70, reports the Mirror.

The "large capacity" display case comes in pink and is suitable for tall bottles of foundations, setting sprays, primers, and toners. The display box also includes two drawers for storing makeup brushes, eyeshadow palettes, blushers, powders, and lipsticks.

The "sturdy" case is "dustproof and waterproof" and can be used in the bathroom, bedroom or dressing room. Debenhams says: "A great gift for any girl, teenager, adult, beauty, fashion and makeup lovers."

Debenhams' Cosmetic Makeup Storage Organiser Skincare Display Box Case With Portable Handle is yet to receive any reviews. However, according to the site, the case has been sold more than 100 times in the last week.

Bargain hunters will also love Debenhams' deal on a 12 piece Professional Makeup Brush Set, currently at an astounding £11.50 after being slashed from £55.50 – that’s a hefty 79 percent saving, giving shoppers a £44 discount.

The set comprises five face brushes, seven eyeshadow brushes, a beauty blender sponge, and a makeup brush cleaner tool. The quality seems to be a hit with customers, who've rated it 4.4 out of five stars.

Another commented on the value, saying: "They look more expensive than you would expect for the price particularly like that they are in a handy case."

A third happy customer shared: "Got it for daughter Xmas and she loves it. In fact two of her friends was asking where I got it but I don't want to let them know the extraordinary discount on it (that's between Debenhams and me)."

Amanda contributed: "Great brushes for the price and a good range. I haven't noticed any hair loss so I'm very happy." While Sara expressed disappointment with: "Not what you expect from a brand like Debenhams very cheap packaging."

Elsewhere, Amazon is enticing shoppers with an 18 piece makeup brush set for just £7.99. Superdrug is also joining the fray, offering its Studio London Ultimate Brush Collection at half price, now £15 down from the original £30.

Beauty deal of the week

With shorter days now fully in swing, experts are warning that approximately a third of UK adults are at risk of being low on Vitamin D due to a lack of sunshine and the limited amount of time we spend outdoors.

According to the NHS, Vitamin D helps regulate the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body, keeping bones, teeth and muscles healthy. It's so important in fact, that government advice is that 'everyone should consider taking a daily Vitamin D supplement during the autumn and winter.'

These Vitamin D3 and K2 tablets from Nutrition Geeks cost just £9.99 for an entire year's supply, and shoppers say they feel like they have "a lot more energy" and have benefited from improved moods too.

The Vitamin D3 and K2 tablets from Nutrition Geeks contain the recommended dose of 4000 iu of Vit D per day, plus an added extra of Vitamin K2 to ensure that calcium is deposited in your bones and not the arteries. At just £9.99 for the entire year, this 365 piece pack works out at less than three pence per tablet, which is cheaper than brands available at both Superdrug and Tesco.

This five star review reads: "I decided to try these due to having a vitamin d deficiency. The size of the tablets make them easy to swallow, since taking these my mood improved drastically and i have felt stronger and better in myself.
