The Hyundai Creta has been posting handsome volumes since its facelift was launched earlier this year in January. In July, the mid-size SUV clocked its highest-ever monthly wholesales at 17,350 units. The vehicle has broken that record by registering remarkable volumes of 17,497 units in the domestic market in October.

The Creta's popularity can be gauged from its garnering wholesales of 113,913 units from April to October FY25, averaging 16,273 units a month.

The Creta first arrived in India in 2015. Currently, it is the best value-for-money package in the mid-size SUV segment with its diligent pricing, multiple powertrain options, and feature-loaded nature.

The Hyundai Creta range, including the standard model, Knight edition and N Line, is priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20.45 lakh (ex-showroom).

The engine choices include 1.5-litre MPi petrol (115PS and 144Nm), 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol (160PS and 253Nm) and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel (116PS and 250Nm). Among the transmission options are 6-speed MT, IVT automatic, 6-speed AT, and 7-speed DCT automatic.

Among the top features of the Creta are a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, front-row ventilated seats, 8-way powered driver seat, surround view monitor, blind spot view monitor, and Bose premium sound system with eight speakers. There is Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS as well.

The vehicle boasts over 70 safety features, including 36 standard safety features. Six airbags, four disc brakes, electronic stability control with vehicle stability management, hill-start assist, and tyre pressure monitoring system (highline) are standard.

The Hyundai Creta rivals the likes of the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Tata Curvv, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate and MG Astor.
