New outdoors shop opening in Torquay

Goody bags and vouchers are up for grabs for the first shoppers

A new Go Outdoors store in Torquay is opening next month. And if you're quick, you can get gold of some free stuff. The store will open on Tuesday, October 8, with the grand opening event taking place on Saturday, October 12.

The store will be officially opened at 9am, and the first 100 customers will receive a £20 voucher. The next 100 customers will be gifted a goody bag. Free hot drinks will be available from 8am to 12pm and a balloon modeller will be on hand to welcome customers.

The new store will stock a wide range of brands, such as Rab, OEX and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Peter Storm, Regatta and Hi-Gear. The 20,000 sq ft store has created 18 new jobs with store manager Arran Johnson looking forward to getting started.
