Marks and Spencer launches £315 beauty advent calendar and shoppers can get it for 84% off

The Beauty Advent Calendar 2024 is packed full of luxury skincare, makeup and haircare must-haves from a selection of sought-after premium brands, with 25 treats to discover in total. Packaged in a zip-around velvet cosmetic case perfect for storing all your new beauty favourites, inside you will find bestsellers from the likes of L'Occitane, Clinique, Benefit, Pixi, REN and loads more.
The Advent Calendar doesn't come cheap, with a price tag of £315 - but there's an easy way to get a whopping 84% off. Simply add it to your basket when you're shopping alongside at least £35 worth of M&S clothing, homeware or beauty, and you will be able to snap it up for just £50 - saving an incredible £265 on the enviable beauty collection.
Anything in these three departments that's not in the sale or on clearance will qualify, and if shopping on the M&S website you just need to drop the calendar in your basket with the rest of your shopping and the discount will be applied automatically. With each item inside packaged in an individual numbered box, the collection promises to be a truly luxurious countdown to Christmas - or it's a great way to save on your festive shopping by re-gifting the contents to fellow beauty lovers.

The Benefit Fan Fest Mascara alone is priced at £27 on the Benefit website, while the Bloom & Blossom Foot & Leg Mist has a price tag of £24 on the brand's website, so these two products alone exceed the advent calendar's £50 price tag. This means that if you take advantage of the M&S offer, you are essentially getting 23 beauty products - and the cosmetic case - for free.
This is the latest beauty advent calendar to hit the high street, with Boots having launched its highly-anticipated No7 calendars earlier this month. Both options include new cosmetics from the brand's new limited edition Pro Artist makeup range, as well as its bestselling Future Renew skincare collection.
The first and most budget-friendly option is the No7 25 Day Beauty Secrets Advent Calendar, which contains 25 products - 11 of which are full size - from cleanser, serum and eye cream to eyeliner, mascara and lipstick. The contents of this calendar, which are packaged in a red and gold gift box behind numbered doors, are worth a whopping £236.65 - but it can be yours for just £60.
Or to really treat yourself over the festive season, there's the No7 Ultimate 25 Day Beauty Advent Calendar, which is packed full of 25 full size products inside an opulent gold box. Featuring favourites from the brand's Radiance, Retinol, Pro Artist and Future Renew ranges, this calendar is priced at £175 but its contents are worth a staggering £514.39, according to Boots.
Elsewhere, Sephora is also now offering its 2024 Advent Calendar for £199 with 40 treats inside worth over £1,000. This set contains 24 full size products and 20 Sephora exclusives, from brands including Sephora Collection, Glow Recipe, Rare Beauty and Makeup By Mario - it's available to pre-order for delivery at the end of the month now.
And online, LookFantastic has launched its Iconic Beauty Advent Calendar 2024 for £100, including a 27-piece collection of beauty favourites from skincare and makeup to haircare and fragrance worth over £565. Inside are icons from the likes of Sol de Janeiro, Estee Lauder, Elemis and MAC.
In addition, fragrance favourite Jo Malone has just launched its Limited Edition Advent Calendar, which includes 25 scented surprises from perfume and mini candles to bath and body treats. It doesn't come cheap, with a price tag of £360 - but with its contents worth a whopping £1,000, it spells the perfect opportunity to try out the brand for less, with its price discounted by 64% and working out at just £14.40 per product.
