About Liam Croft
Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he's found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.

Black Ops 6 being on here is really intriguing, especially seeing as Sony were convinced in the legal battle over Xbox getting Activision last year that Xbox would on purposely make the game run worse on Sony consoles lmao
Disappointed with Helldivers not being on the list but I know they did say it will be so I'm assuming this just means "not day 1"

It actually runs very slightly smoother on PS5 over Series x.
PS5 Pro patch will be interesting to see.
@DonJorginho they were either convinced or claimed so
Come on Game Science. Bring on Wukong!
Notice how Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the only 3D platformer on the list to be supported on PS5 Pro

Black Myth Wukong. Seriously Game Science, you know it needs to happen xD
Returnal could use a patch to increase the resolution. I believe it's currently upscaled 1080p.

@LiamCroft Shouldn't Lords of the Fallen be on this list? Or is that not day 1?

@wildcat_kickz This 'official' list seems to be missing quite a few games devs have said will be ready for launch including LotF. Perhaps some of them haven't quite made launch, or something, but I saw over 75 listed elsewhere.

No Gran Turismo 7 day 1?
@wildcat_kickz It should be day one, but Sony hasn't listed it for some reason.

@themightyant I actually just checked the source article on PlayStation Blog and this is just a "sampling" of the 50+ games available on Nov 7 with Pro patches, so that explains some of the omissions.

@themightyant @wildcat_kickz This is the official list released by Sony. It's missing quite a lot really.
We have an unofficial list of everything announced here: https://www.pushsquare.com/guides/all-ps5-pro-enhanced-games

@get2sammyb @LiamCroft Makes sense, thanks fellas!
Thought Final Fantasy 16 might be on the list. Surprised not to see it.

There isn’t a lack of games to play at launch. But it’s disappointing that FF16 and Elden Ring are MIA. Currently the Ray tracing in Graphics mode on Elden Ring is unplayable.
I wonder what changes Larian have made.

@ThunderFunk hopefully they are added later. I just want Prey to get a 60fps patch which seemed impossible for years due to MS owning the developer.

Rogue Flight???
One of my favourite games of the year. If it has upgrades it'll be the first game I fire up on the pro.
I'll be downloading:
Baldur's Gate 3
TLoU Part 1
FC25
Dragon's Dogma 2
and Hogwarts Legacy from that list
alongside some old favourites like TW3, KCD just for the sake of them being on the console.
And maybe purchase Dragon Age: The Veilguard as my first new proper 'launch title'.
@DonJorginho I know. All I'm saying it's one thing to say something and another to mean it.

I'm guessing no Bloodborne on the list is a mistake?

@naruball Oh aye I think it was more Jimbo rambling rather than the company’s view as a whole.
I really want to play Final fantasy 7 Ribrth and Stellar blade on my PS5 Pro but I sadly cannot find a disk drive anywhere (UK), looks like I will have to keep on playing the 3/10 The first Descendant in the mean time...
@Rob_230 I’m hoping it gets added down the line. I’ve been waiting to play the FFXVI DLC & Hard Mode until the Pro comes out
I'm shocked that Final Fantasy 16 isn't included. That game desperately needs Pro support.

But what does PS5 pro enhanced mean...I had many so-called PS4 pro enhanced games and I still don't know what was better. Yet another marketing con if you ask me
@BlueLobster I’d like to know this as well. Would be my biggest reason to get a Pro.

No one seems to be reporting on the fact that the specs that were leaked a good deal back where wrong in terms of GPU power. Those Leaks stated 33 teraflops.
In the unboxings we now know that the official manual for the Ps5 pro states it's only a little more than 16 teraflops. Only 4 more than the xbsx and 6 more than the base ps5...
Why does this matter? It doesn't lol, none of this does.
However, consider this: you have continued to be blasted with marketing and the fan human defenders give reasonings such as the idea that an equivalent pc GPU/setup could not be made for the the Ps5 pro asking price and Thus it's a valid price point.
That rational was based on those leaked/assumed specs....
Gee..... I wonder why Sony didn't correct that pre release, or even release official specs at all during that time...
@KundaliniRising333 It was never going to be 33TF, anyone with an ounce of sense knew that. The 16TF figure has been around for quite a while and Sony have never claimed anything higher. If anything, they're downplaying it, stating the extra 6TF actually only gives about a 45% boost.
Raw TF figures are pretty meaningless, anyway. Look what difference the extra 2TF between XBX and PS5 base made.

Ever since I decided to get a pro, I’ve put my PS five on the back burner and basically been playing my series X for the entire time.
I plan on putting some time into resident evil 4, Hogwarts and Star Wars outlaws, But there’s other games I’m sure I’ll check out just to see how they’ve been improved.

Wait, no Barbie: Project Friendship and Bluey ?
I thought it has potential to upscale those kids games until 8K 120 fps. 😆

@KundaliniRising333 as you can see you dont need 33Tflops to achieve fidelity Mode with 60FPS right? You have to learn and understand what the 2GB more and even faster memory AND PSSR is doing in the Pro. It renders in a lower Resolution and the technique is scaling this up to 4K without the loss of Power because of a too high resolution. Its as easy as that. All the people want is games with the most possible details and 60FPS as mentioned. For me it was a little letdown on tje standard PS5 everytime because I had to choose between good looking and smooth playability. I cannot play in 30FPS anymore. Its 2024

@Darude84 Since it was one of the few games used to showcase the system in Cerny’s technical presentation, I naturally assumed that the patch would be ready day 1. Hopefully it’s just an oversight but we’ll find out soon enough.

I still can't believe they've got the cheek to even release a PS5 "Pro". Calling it "launch" as well... This whole thing seems like a huge joke.

@get2sammyb maybe they aren't day 1 but they are coming after? that could be possible.
Resident Evil Village has been confirmed by Capcom to now run at 120fps on PS5. Thank god. That will cut down 50% of OLED motion clatirity blur, give it smoother life-like motion and make the controls more responsive and snappier thanks to reducing input lag down by half. But what does it even matter, when the pancake version overall pales in comparison to playing it on PS VR2?
If Capcom can bump up the flat screen version to 120fps with PS5 Pro, you'd think they'd get the PS VR2 version up to 90fps, considering VR requires a bit more juice. 90fps for Village VR would mean no more motion doubling, smoother life-like motion and less ghosting.
Really would like ff16 on that list
I would love a cyberpunk 2077 love too...
