Dyson launches early Black Friday deals with £150 off top vacuum cleaners
by Jake Hackney, Harriet Morphy-Morris · Birmingham LiveWith less than a month to go until Black Friday 2024, the countdown is on for the much-anticipated shopping event on November 29. Tech deals are expected to be plentiful, and in anticipation, some brands have kicked things off early.
Dyson, renowned for its cordless vacuum cleaners, AirWrap hair styling technology, and air purifying home goods, has already launched its Black Friday sale. It's has seen hundreds of pounds slashed off some of its most popular products, all before the Black Friday month even begins.
Getting in early offers shoppers the opportunity to avoid the expected lengthy online queues at the end of November. The brand states that the deals will help 'create a healthy home this Autumn', with price drops featured on its dust-busting products including the V8 Advanced, V11 Extra, and V15 Detect cordless vacuums.

Our top pick from the sale is the Dyson V8 Advanced, which is usually priced at £329.99 but is now reduced to £229.99. The V15 Detect Absolute model boasts a £150 discount, although the higher-tech model will still cost shoppers £499.99 in the sale.
The V8 model can run for 40 minutes with 'fade-free suction power' and traps 99.99% of microscopic particles. The more advanced V15 Detect Clean lives up to its name with an added dust sensor and LED screen to keep track of what's been removed from users' carpets, upholstery and floors, reports the Mirror.
The Piezo sensor is a game-changer, smartly adjusting suction power when it detects more dust, while the fancy LED screen displays the exact amount of grime collected, truly living up to its 'Detect Clean' moniker. A satisfied customer hailed it as a 'superhero' product, saying: "The brush is the perfect size and suitable to do the stairs. We have three different kinds of flooring such as carpet, lino and laminate floor. Dyson is [a] superhero and is doing its job with the honour."
They added: "It's not only just tool in our family – it is like a pet/toy everyone wants to get and use it. Dyson is a such brilliant invention, which makes vacuuming easier and should be in every home."
Another buyer praised the V15 Detect Absolute model, writing: "Bought the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute about three weeks ago. Wish I had one of these earlier."
However, with a price tag of £499.99 – even on sale – our shopping team's only concern is the cost – there are certainly cheaper alternatives, like the Bosch model at Amazon for £205. But it's worth noting that none of them come with the same detect technology found in the Dyson V15.
As Black Friday sales loom, Shark has also unveiled a page of deals online, which can be viewed here. Those keen on household bargains might also want to keep an eye on Amazon's deals page as the sales commence.
