2024 Aveta 250LM, 250LX in Malaysia, from RM12.9k

For Malaysian off-road motorcycle riders, the 2024 Aveta 250LM and 250LX are now in Malaysia. Pricing for the 250LX is RM12,988 while the 250LM retails at RM13,988, with prices excluding road tax, insurance and registration.

The Aveta 250LX is a dual-purpose enduro style motorcycle and 250LM is sized as a super motard, equipped with all the necessary road-going equipment thus allowing the pair to be registered for street use. Colour options for the 250LX are Arsenal Red or Army Green while the 250LM is available in Blazing Red or Admiral Blue.

Difference between the 250LX and 250LM lies in the ground clearance and wheel sizes. The 250LX comes with a higher ground clearance of 305 mm, with a 21-inch front rim and 18-inch rear rim while the 250 LM gets 17-inch wheels front and rear with 290 mm of ground clearance.

Both share an identical power plant, a 250 cc oil-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder SOHC engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission and chain final drive. Braking is done with single hydraulic discs front and rear on both the 250LX and 250 LM, with the 250LM getting switchable front wheel ABS.

Suspension uses upside-down forks in front and an adjustable monoshock in the rear. Seat height is listed as 908 mm while weight is claimed to be 125 kg with the fuel tank carrying 8-litres.
