RE Goan Classic 350 will be launched at Motoverse 2024 in Goa; will get a host of ergonomic changes compared to the regular Classic 350

Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch the Goan Classic 350 at Motoverse 2024, taking place from November 22 to 24. This follows an eventful year, starting with the release of the Shotgun 650 in early 2024, followed by the Guerrilla 450 and an upgraded Classic. Recently, Royal Enfield introduced the Interceptor Bear 650 scrambler and the Classic 650 at the EICMA show in Italy.

Meanwhile, development is underway for refreshed versions of its 350 cc models. The Goan Classic 350 is a modified version of the standard Classic 350 with added sauce and a bobber body style. The buzz around the bobber continues to grow, fuelled by recent road sightings and the release of patent images a few months back. The ‘Goan Classic 350’ name has also been trademarked.

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 distinguishes itself with unique cosmetic and ergonomic enhancements compared to the standard Classic 350. Under the hood, it houses the same 349 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the Classic 350, producing an output of around 20 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque.

This engine is paired with a five-speed transmission, delivering the familiar performance enthusiasts expect from Royal Enfield’s classic lineup while adding a fresh, bobber-inspired twist. The motorcycle is built on a tubular downtube frame, featuring a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.

Its braking system includes a disc brake on both the front and rear wheels, assisted by a dual-channel ABS system. It weighs 197 kg and an additional 9 kg when equipped with the optional rear seat. With a ground clearance of 170 mm, it is expected to cost around Rs. 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the bobber-styled offerings from Jawa and Yezdi.

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 gets an elongated rider seat and exposed rear fender, enhancing its bobber-inspired design, especially when the optional pillion seat is omitted. This model also features split grab rails and maintains a nostalgic appeal with its wire-spoked wheels and whitewall tyres. A more upright handlebar offers a unique riding posture, while the slightly forward-set rider footpegs contribute to a relaxed, laid-back riding posture.
