TVS’ 300 cc Adventure Bike To Launch In Mid-2025 – Report

The TVS adventure bike is said to launch by the middle of next year and is currently in its final stages of development; to be powered by a new 300 cc engine

According to a recent report that emerged on the internet, TVS Motor Company is working on a brand new adventure touring machine. It is said to launch by the middle of next year and is currently in its final stages of development. Unlike the BMW F 450 GS concept unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan Italy, it will not feature a 450 cc parallel twin engine.

Instead, it will be equipped with a new 300 cc mill reportedly. Although the 2025-bound BMW F 450 GS will be manufactured by TVS at its Hosur plant, the forthcoming TVS adv will be a separate project as it will utilise a new engine, paired with a six-speed transmission. The brand could draw inputs from the 313 cc powertrain found in the flagship RR 310.

In a typical fashion to a dual purpose adventure tourer, the adventure motorcycle will feature a tall windscreen, front beak, long travel suspension, 21-inch or 19-inch front wire-spoked wheel wrapped in dual purpose tyres, front and rear disc brakes assisted by a dual-channel ABS system and a slipper/assist clutch as standard and aggressive fuel tank extensions.

The equipment list may also comprise a TFT instrument console with navigation and smartphone connectivity options, adjustable clutch and brake levers, upside down front forks, offset monoshock rear suspension, a compact tail section, all LED lighting, an upright handlebar, and more. Considering the electronic aids present in the RR 310 and RTR 310, it may also get traction control, wheelie control, six-axis IMU, etc.

We can also expect different ride modes and switchable rear ABS to be presented as well. The adventurer motorcycle space is gearing up to see plenty of activity as the second generation Hero Xpulse 210 and the all-new KTM 390 Adventure range are about to launch soon. Triumph may also bring in the Tiger 400 in the near future.

The upcoming TVS 300 cc adventure tourer will compete with Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure, KTM 250 Adventure and others. It will likely be positioned between the Himalayan 450 and Xpulse in terms of performance.
