Maruti Suzuki officially opened bookings for the eagerly awaited fourth-generation Dzire yesterday. As India’s best-selling compact sedan prepares to debut in a fresh new look, customers can now secure their reservation with an initial token amount of Rs. 11,000, either by visiting a nearby Maruti Arena dealership or online.
The new Dzire will be offered in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+ and all will be equipped with the Idle Start-Stop (ISS) system as a standard feature. The compact sedan measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width, and 1,525 mm in height with a wheelbase length of 2,450 mm. It has a Gross Vehicle Weight of 1,375 kg.
Compared to the outgoing model, the 2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is taller by 10 mm but no other significant proportional changes have been made. The redesigned front end features a wider hexagonal grille adorned with horizontal slats and slim LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs extend into a sleek chrome strip, which connects to the Suzuki badge at the centre.

Additional exterior updates include new alloy wheels, a subtly reworked bonnet and trunk, newly styled front and rear bumpers, revamped fog lamp housings, and LED tail lamps bridged by a horizontal chrome bar. Inside, the fourth-gen Dzire elevates its appeal with a more premium cabin inspired by the latest Swift.
It offers a floating nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a 360-degree camera system for added convenience, and redesigned AC vents. The interior sports a triple-tone dashboard, a newly crafted steering wheel, and an updated instrument console. Safety features include six airbags as standard while the first-in-class electric sunroof enhances its appeal further amongst family audiences.

Another notable upgrade in the new Dzire will be the introduction of a 1.2L three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine, replacing the long-standing four-cylinder K-series unit. This engine will deliver up to 82 bhp and 112 Nm of torque and it will be available with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT gearbox. Additionally, a CNG variant will be offered.
