by Team GaadiWaadi · GaadiWaadi.comGet ready for multiple all-new Scrambler motorcycles from leading auto manufacturers in the next six months in the Indian market
Scrambler motorcycles hold a special place in the hearts of bikers and we have already seen a lot of such models in the Indian market. Some of the most popular Scrambler bikes presently available in India are Triumph 400X, Yezdi Scrambler and Husqvarna Svartpilen 250. We have learnt that three more Scramblers are ready to go on sale in the country in the span of next 6 months. Below are the details:
1. Royal Enfield Bear 650
Based on the Interceptor 650, Royal Enfield Bear 650 is the brand’s fifth 650cc model in India. It has already been revealed along with engine specs and features. Staying true to its Scrambler character, it rides on 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, shod with new MRF-sourced Nylorex block pattern tyres.
Royal Enfield is offering Showa USD forks at front while it boasts of dual-shock suspension setup at the rear. It has the highest seat height of 830mm among other Royal Enfield motorcycles. The Scrambler also features switchable dual-channel ABS as standard feature. Powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine, it makes 56.5 Nm of peak torque which is more than any RE bike. The Bear 650 will make its first public appearance in India at the Motoverse 2024, which starts from Nov 22 in Goa.

2. Hero Mavrick 440 Scrambler
Hero MotoCorp will unveil a host of new products at the EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy starting from Nov 5. However, one of the motorcycles planned for this event, the Scrambler version of the Mavrick 440, has already been leaked on the web. The leaked design patent reveals the rugged and muscular nature of the Scrambler.
Some of the notable features would include fly screen, fork gaiters, grab rail, alloy wheels, metal bash plate and new handlebar with a cross brace. It will carry the same 440cc single-cylinder engine from the standard Mavrick 440 with identical power output and torque performance. The same 6-speed gearbox will be at the helm of affairs. Multiple reports have claimed that it will become the most expensive Hero motorcycle till date in India.

3. Royal Enfield Scram 450
The all-new Scram 450 was spotted testing earlier this year and it was speculated that the bike will launch by late 2024 in India. However, it didn’t happen and now we expect the Scram 450 to go on sale in early 2025. Essentially, it might not be named Scram 450 upon its launch as Royal Enfield has trademarked a lot of modern names recently.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 450 scrambler motorcycle would borrow the 450cc engine from the Himalayan and Guerrilla. It will get the traditional telescopic front forks and we might not see the USD units used on the Himalayan 450. Some other noticeable updates could include broader rear tyre, switchable dual-channel ABS, LED headlamp etc. to name a few. It is expected to weigh under 200 kg while priced around Rs 2.30-2.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
