5+ New Mahindra Electric SUVs In India You Should Watch Out For

Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up for a substantial expansion in its SUV lineup, bringing both conventional ICE models and new EVs to the forefront. The automaker’s plans include the launch of its XUV.e and BE series, which will add to its EV offerings in the next two years.
Additionally, Mahindra intends to introduce electric variants for several existing internal combustion SUVs as well. Here’s an overview of what to expect from these upcoming models:
1. Mahindra XUV 3X0 EV:
Mahindra is gearing up to introduce an electric version of the XUV 3XO soon. Positioned just below the XUV400 in the lineup, this model is expected to offer a range of around 400 km per charge. The electric XUV 3XO is set to compete directly with base and mid-range variants of the Nexon EV, Tata Punch EV, Citroen eC3, and MG Windsor EV.

2.&3. Mahindra XUV.e8 & XUV.e9:
Mahindra plans to launch the XUV.e8, an electric SUV inspired by the XUV700, in the first half of 2025. This model will retain the exterior styling of its concept prototype and will boast a modern interior with a triple-screen layout and a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel. Built on the advanced INGLO platform, the XUV.e8 is expected to offer a driving range exceeding 500 km per charge. Additionally, the XUV.e9, a coupe-style variant of the XUV.e8, is anticipated for release in the latter half of 2025.
4&5. Mahindra BE.05 & BE.07:
Mahindra is expected to debut the BE.05 electric SUV next month, following its initial showcase as a concept a few years ago. Recently spotted on public roads during testing, this upcoming model is projected to offer a driving range exceeding 500 km. Additionally, the more sophisticated BE.07 is in development and is slated for a 2026 launch.

6,7&8. Mahindra Scorpio.e, Bolero.e & Thar.e:
Mahindra has secured trademarks for the names Scorpio.e and Bolero.e, reaffirming its plans to introduce electric versions of its popular ICE models. Alongside these, the Thar.e – an electric adaptation of the five-door Thar Roxx – is expected to hit the market around late 2026, expanding Mahindra’s lineup of electrified classics.
