The Vivo X200 is likely to launch in India soon. The new flagship was recently unveiled in China and is said to arrive in the Indian market next month. With every new release, Vivo has been improving performance and user experience. However, this has also been accompanied by a rise in prices. So, the question remains—will the Vivo X200 see a price hike when it arrives in India? Let's find out.

The Vivo X200 is likely to see a minimal price hike in India, following the trend set by its predecessors. The last three models – the Vivo X80, X90, and X100 – each saw a significant increase of around Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000. Given this pattern, there's a strong possibility that the Vivo X200 will also launch in India at a higher price than its predecessor. Additionally, Vivo has not historically launched new models at the same price point as previous ones, further supporting expectations of a price increase.

The Vivo X200 will likely be priced under Rs 70,000. To recall, the Vivo X80 was launched at Rs 54,999, whereas the Vivo X90 was made available at Rs 59,999. This means that there was a price increase of Rs 5,000. The Vivo X100 was then introduced at Rs 63,999, so the cost increased by Rs 4,000. So, if we go by its old pricing strategy, the starting price of the Vivo X200 will likely be set under Rs 70,000.

In China, the Vivo X100 launched at CNY 3,999 (approx. Rs 46,700), while the Vivo X200 debuted at CNY 4,299 (approx. Rs 50,200). This minimal price increase suggests that Vivo might not significantly raise prices in India either. Based on past launches, the Vivo X200 could be priced between Rs 65,000 and Rs 70,000 in India. However, this is just a prediction, as nothing has been officially confirmed.

The Vivo X200 is expected to compete with upcoming smartphones such as the OnePlus 13, Oppo Find X8, and Samsung Galaxy S25 series. The OnePlus 13 is also expected to be priced under Rs 70,000, while the Oppo Find X8 could be positioned under Rs 80,000, making it a rival to the iPhone 16 series. With many of these devices launching in the coming weeks or months, it will be interesting to see how brands persuade consumers to choose their products.
