Techno recently took to X, indicating that the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 will arrive in India soon. A new foldable smartphone, launched globally on September 13, comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, an AMOLED display, and a 50-megapixel camera. This comes after over a year of launching its first fold -- The Tech Phantom V Fold in India in April 2023. The company posted on X (Formerly Twitter) that the Phantom V Fold 5G is now sold out on Amazon, "But the story doesn’t end here. If you know, you know," the post stated.

This post hints at two things. First, the new foldable phone is arriving in India. Since, the company has connected it with the Tecno Phantom V Fold, it is clear that the launch of Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 is imminent in India. Second, as Tecno calls it a "new chapter", this might mean that the company will no longer make the first fold available in the country. However, this is just an assumption.
