Jeep India has opened bookings for the 2025 Jeep Meridian. The updated version of the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster-rival is expected to be launched in the country next week.

The 2025 model will continue to employ the 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine, which produces 168bhp and 350Nm. This engine comes mated to either a 9-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. The SUV will continue to have 4X2 and 4X4 options.

The SUV's 4x4 system features Selec-Terrain. It gets a Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) suspension system. The SUV has an impressive 203mm ground clearance and 406mm water-wading ability.

The 2025 Jeep Meridian has both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. It gets features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 9-speaker Alpine system, and wireless charging.

The SUV is equipped with Uconnect connected services, offering over 30 connected and remote features, including Alexa home-to-SUV control, remote engine start with AC pre-condition, auto SOS, geo-fencing, and remote vehicle monitoring.

Jeep is offering ADAS on the Meridian and over 70 safety and security features, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning and collision mitigation braking.

While the outgoing Jeep Median is priced between Rs 31.23 lakh and Rs 39.83 lakh (ex-showroom), the upcoming model is expected to come at a slight premium.
