Maybe a little rough Victory Monday with an almost two hour lightening delay last night, but the Cowboys still got the win.

If anyone told you last night went how they expected, they would be lying. Many expected with Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence being out that it would be Pittsburgh running the ball all day. Pittsburgh is not some elite rushing team, but everyone has been able to run on this Dallas Cowboys defense all of 2024. With a mobile quarterback that Justin Fields on Pittsburgh, we were expecting a lot of running around.

Even with all those key players out for this game, the Dallas Cowboys defense stepped up. Next key to the victory a lot of folks were saying for last night was a clean game for Dak Presscott. Clean is not something I would say for Dak's game last night. Some of it out of his control. Too many penalties for the Cowboys once again with eleven in total and three turnovers on the offense. Dallas fumbled on the one yard line and Dak threw two interceptions.

It's not often you have three turnovers and double digit penalties and still win the game. The Dallas Cowboys have got to clean up the penalties in the film room this week and we will see how these injuries affect the game this week. The Dallas Cowboys will be at home on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Kickoff is set for 3:30 and you can listen to the game on 106.3 the Buzz and NewsTalk1290 here in Wichita Falls.
