by · Birmingham Live

Zara Tindall, Princess Anne's daughter, showed her emotional side during her debut on 'Mike Drop', a YouTube series by her husband Mike Tindall. In the engaging chat, the Royal couple had a sincere 30-minute conversation where Zara spoke about being a mum and her impressive sporting career.

They touched upon her equestrian triumphs, especially with her Olympics steed 'High Kingdom', which earned her a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Reflecting on her early successes, Zara recalled her double gold win at her first senior event at the 2005 European Championships, followed by individual gold and team silver the next year at the World Equestrian Games.

She highlighted the joy of competing and succeeding for the late Trevor Hemmings, High Kingdom’s owner, valuing that significant victory.

Opening up about the past, Zara emotionally said: "We managed to get him [High Kingdom] to the Olympics, which was incredible. Trev Trevor Hemmings has won so many amazing things in his racing career, Grand Nationals and things like that."

Overcome with emotion while discussing her Olympic experience, Zara continued: "But to see his face at the Olympics and to get that team medal was amazing," reports Wales Online.

She went on to say: "And to be able to give something back to him when he had supported me for so long was incredible. I'm going to get emotional," as reported by the Express.

Zara and former England rugby star Tindall have now been married for over a decade since their nuptials at Canongate Kirk on July 30, 2011. In a recent heartfelt exchange, Mike commended Zara's unwavering commitment, often prioritising the needs of her horses and their owners, sometimes even at the expense of her own well-being.

The couple are proud parents to three children - daughters Mia and Lena, and son Lucas. When not occupied with Royal duties or sports-related events, Zara wholeheartedly embraces her role as a hands-on mother, cherishing the moments spent with her family.

In a candid conversation, Zara opened up about the challenge of juggling motherhood with her professional pursuits, including tackling "mum guilt" and finding her way back to fitness post-pregnancy. She openly shared with her husband: "I found it hard getting myself back to it. Mentally, you feel guilty as a mother leaving your child to go and do something else."

The love story of Zara and Mike originated during Mike's triumphant Rugby World Cup campaign in Australia back in 2003. Their engagement went public in December 2010 when Mike presented Zara with "a custom-designed diamond and platinum ring with a divided diamond band".

Home for the Tindalls is the idyllic Aston Farm, occupying a seven-bedroom farmhouse graciously situated within Zara's mother, Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire—a stone's throw from King Charles' much-adored Highgrove residence.
