The pleasing Swansea City ratings as summer signing enjoys one of his best games so far in Watford win

by · Wales Online

Lawrence Vigouroux 7

Didn't have a save to make, but claimed several crosses with minimal fuss. Solid.

Josh Key 7

Really useful outlet going forward. Plenty of confidence on the ball, and did well out of possession to.

Ben Cabango 7

Another really solid outing. Strong in the tackle. Strong in the air. Another good showing.

Harry Darling 8

Highlight was a brilliant last ditch challenge on Bayo deep into the second half. Put his body on the line for the cause.

Kyle Naughton 7

Another pleasing outing from the veteran. No Swans player made more tackles. Subbed.

Matt Grimes (c) 7

Hard to decide if he was better in or out of possession. Some lovely crisp passing on the ball. Pressed Watford into submission at times too, particularly in the first half.

Goncalo Franco 7

Mopped up superbly on the edge of his own box, and mucked in really nicely in the final third when required too. Subbed.

Ronald 8

Looks to be returning to his best. A constant thorn in the side of the Watford defence for much of the evening. No player made more successful dribbles.

Liam Cullen 6

Didn't have much joy in possession, but played his part in a superb Swans press. Subbed.

Myles Peart-Harris 8 - Star Man

Probably his best performance in a Swans shirt so far. Constantly at the heart of things. Pace caused all sorts of problems, and his energy was a constant problem for the visitors. Hit the post early on, but more than made up for it with a deserved goal.

Zan Vipotnik 6

Looks to be getting up to speed a little bit more, but was quite quiet for much of the evening. Unlucky not to get on the end of that early Peart-Harris cross. Subbed.

Subs:

Florian Bianchini (on for Vipotnik 67) - Didn't really look like scoring, but actually made some useful defensive contributions - 6

Cyrus Christie (on for Naughton 76) - Made a couple of decent interventions late on - 6

Joe Allen (on for Franco 76) - Shored things up in midfield when Watford were threatening - 6
