Swansea City player ratings as defence shines in Sheffield Wednesday stalemate but attacking squadron goes missing

by · Wales Online

Lawrence Vigoroux 6

Wasn't ever really tested, but handling was tidy enough when called upon.

Kyle Naughton 7

Made some decent contributions to help aid his side's attacking efforts. No player made more tackles. Ran out of steam a little after the break. Subbed.

Ben Cabango 7 - STAR MAN

Another really solid showing at the heart of defence.

Harry Darling 7

Likewise.

Josh Tymon 7

Solid for much of the night. Made a hugely important contribution in the second half to keep Wednesday at bay.

Jay Fulton 6

Unlucky not to score early on. Had some promising spells, but ran out of legs in the second half. Subbed.

Matt Grimes (c) 6

Ideas were all there, but execution largely wasn't. A decent performance, but certainly not up to his usual level.

Ronald 5

Made some really good runs down the flank, but end product was once again lacking for much of the evening.

Myles Peart-Harris 5

Linked up reasonably well with some of his team-mates, but again, there was seldom any sign of a quality final ball.

Azeem Abdulai 5

As above, really. Subbed.

Zan Vipotnik 4

Once again looked so isolated up front. Just not given anywhere near enough to feed off. A frustrating showing. Subbed.
