Arsenal have reportedly retained their status as one of Adidas' 'elite teams' for the upcoming 2025/26 season.

The Gunners returned to the German kit manufacturer in 2019 and have enjoyed a healthy relationship since then. Their initial five-year deal was due to end this year, however in 2022 this was extended until 2030.

It is believed that Arsenal generates approximately £75m per season from the agreement with Adidas. The North London club received the benefits of being an 'elite team' this year as they were awarded the premium Heat.Dry technology for their first team shirts as well as the trefoil 'Adidas Originals' logo on their third shirt.

This retro design for the Arsenal kit has proven to be a huge winner with supporters and it will undoubtedly be welcomed that such a partnership will be continued next season. According to Footy Headlines, the Gunners will be joined once again by Manchester United as an 'elite team' with fellow Premier League clubs Liverpool and Newcastle United set to be joining the ranks.

Liverpool are expected to be joining Adidas next season once their Nike deal expires while Newcastle returned to Adidas at the beginning of this season. Other new names in the 'elite team' bracket are Scottish champions Celtic and Italian giants AS Roma.

Juventus, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid round off the 'elite teams' for next season which means there is surprisingly no place for Aston Villa. The West Midlands club also joined the German kit manufacturer this campaign after their agreement with Castore ended.
