Tottenham's next five fixtures compared to Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United after Man City win
by Jake Stokes · football.londonAnge Postecoglou only has a day or two, at most, on the training pitches before Tottenham Hotspur return to action. After defeating Manchester City in the Carabao Cup round of 16 on Wednesday night, the Lilywhites must now turn their attention to the Premier League.
On Sunday afternoon, Spurs will host Aston Villa as both sides look to climb the table. Tottenham dropped to eighth last weekend, meanwhile, the Villans fumbled the chance to leapfrog Arsenal into third when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth.
With Liverpool facing Brighton and Manchester United playing Chelsea, Spurs and Villa both have a brilliant chance to climb the rankings. So, with that being said, footbal.london have looked at Tottenham's upcoming fixtures and how they compare to their rivals.
Aston Villa (H) - Premier League - Sunday, November 3
The North Londoners will have a skip in their step when they host Villa this weekend. Unai Emery's side have been really impressive in the Champions League this season, but they've been a bit shaky in the Premier League.

Galatasaray (A) - Europa League - Thursday, November 7
Tottenham are one of only three teams to have won each of their first three Europa League games this season. Galatasaray also remain unbeaten, and this looks poised to be an absolute classic.
Spurs will lock horns with Galatasaray in front of a boisterous crowd at Rams Park in Istanbul. Drums. Pyrotechnics. Whistling. Booing. Tifos. You name it... The ground will be a cauldron of noise.
Ipswich Town (H) - Premier League - Sunday, November 10
Just a few days later, Tottenham will face Ipswich. It's a quick turnaround, so this could be a potential hiccup for Postecoglou's swashbuckling side.
Manchester City (A) - Premier League - Saturday, November 23
Unfortunately for Tottenham, they drew the short straw in the Carabao Cup – but they waltzed away victorious against all the odds. The Lilywhites have a better record than most against City, winning four of the last eight encounters, drawing one and losing the other three.
AS Roma (H) - Europa League - Thursday, November 28
Roma have really struggled to impress after sacking Daniele De Rossi so early into the season. The Italian giants have won just one of their last five games across all competitions, sitting 12th in Serie A and 19th in the Europa League.
