John Terry shows true Chelsea colours with three-word Man Utd dig

Chelsea legend John Terry is not afraid to speak his mind to fans on social media

If anyone was in any doubt about John Terry's dedication to Chelsea - who could be really - it is certainly not up for debate now. Terry is the Blues' most successful captain.

While Terry was at the club Chelsea won five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, three League Cups, the Europa League and the Champions League. He is Chelsea through and through.

He did have one heartbreaking moment for the Blues, missing a spot-kick during the 2008 Champions League final which would have won the Blues the title. Instead, Manchester United would go on to lift the trophy, eventually winning the shootout 6-5.

Terry would go on to make up for it in 2012, lifting the Champions League trophy finally, despite being suspended for the final against Bayern Munich.

The Chelsea legend has had his run-ins in the past with other clubs - the norm for a player so successful - and he is not shy of speaking his mind on social media either.

Terry posted a photo of himselfmwalking out at the Camp Nou to take on Barcelona in 2009 with the caption: "Walking out at the Camp Nou Vs fcbarcelona back in 2009 facing one of the Greatest players EVER, is what you dream of and also what you thrive on as a player.

"I always say this Barcelona team was the best of my generation, one team was capable of matching them in this era and that was us."

One Manchester United fan was quick to respond, saying: "Yet MUFC met them twice in finals (thinking face emoji)."

And Terry had the perfect comeback. Three simple words were uttered in response to the United supporter: "and got battered." Priceless.
