The new gameplay in EA FC 25 has caused a bit of a stir among the EA Sports FC player base, with players yet to be 100% convinced of the quality of the game. Updates to gameplay have already been made including a nerf to the popular speed boost glitch, but one factor that hasn't been a problem is shooting.

How to perform a trivela shot in EA FC 25

Here's how to do a trivela in EA FC 25 on every platform:

• PS5 / PS4 – hold L2 and press circle (O) shooting towards the far corner
• Xbox Series X |S – hold LT and press B shooting towards the far corner
• PC – hold W and shoot by pressing left-click

What makes a trivela shot special is that players use the outside of their foot to shoot, giving the shot much more spin and dip than regular shots. Trivela shots also seem to be one of the more overpowered shooting mechanics in EA FC 25, so when paired with the Trivela PlayStyle Plus, they can almost guarantee goals from certain areas on the pitch.

Trivela shots work best when using a right-footed player on the right side of the pitch, or a left-footed player on the left side. Make sure you shoot with the players' strong foot though, as a weak foot trivela shot will have much less power and accuracy.

At the time of writing, five players items in Ultimate Team possess the Trivela PlayStyle Plus. If you attempt a trivela shot with these players, your trivela shots will have much more accuracy, curve, and power, especially from outside the box compared to when attempting this shot without the PlayStyle Plus.
