England take on Greece at Wembley this evening in their latest Nations League clash, with Lee Carsley looking to guide the Three Lions to another vital three points

by · The Mirror

England are back in Nations League action this evening as they take on Greece at Wembley.

In the first game between the two countries since 2006, interim manager Lee Carsley will be looking to make it three wins from three in Group B in his short tenure as boss. Both sides won their opening two B2 games - beating Finland and Ireland respectively - but it's Greece who top the standings thanks to their superior goal difference.

England are heavy favourites to take all three points and have never lost against tonight's opponents, with seven wins and two draws in nine meetings. However, it was one of those stalemates – a 2-2 draw in 2002 that sent England to the World Cup – that cemented this particular fixture in history.

The Three Lions are aiming to extend their unbeaten run against the Greeks to 10 games and further their bid to return to Nations League Group A. Mirror Football have all the key info about where – and how – to watch tonight's game.

With two wins from two, and no goals conceded so far in the Nations League B group, it looks like Carsley will keep his team mostly the same, with some players returning from injury. Jude Bellingham and Cole Palmer are in fine form for their respective clubs and are likely to lead England's charge, alongside Harry Kane.

The Premier League trio of Ezri Konsa, Morgan Gibbs-White and Kobbie Mainoo are all unavailable after dropping out of the squad due to injuries sustained on club duty last week. Liverpool star Curtis Jones and Newcastle defender Tino Livramento have been drafted in as their replacements and could feature.

How have England fared so far in their Nations League B group?

England boast a 100% record from their two opening Nations League B group games so far, with back-to-back 2-0 wins over Ireland and Finland. Declan Rice and Jack Grealish found the net in Dublin, while a Harry Kane double was enough to sink Finland.

Greece are also unbeaten in the group after two wins, also against Ireland and Finland. However, it's Ivan Jovanovic's side who top the group courtesy of their superior goal difference, having beaten Ireland 2-0 and Finland 3-0.
