Jake Paul has been told Mike Tyson should be billed as the star of the show ahead of their fight next month.

The clash between Paul and Tyson is set take place on Friday, November 15 in Arlington, Texas at the AT&T Stadium in front of up to 90,000 fans. 'Iron Mike's' last professional outing came in 2005 when he lost to Kevin McBride. His last bout took place in an exhibition against fellow legend Roy Jones Jr in 2020. As for Paul, the 27-year-old defeated former UFC fighter Mike Perry back in July in his last outing.

Both men were due to go toe-to-toe in the ring back in July. However, Tyson was forced to pull out and postpone his return to the ring after suffering from an inflamed ulcer. The American was advised to stop training on his doctor's orders but has recently returned to the gym and insists he will be ready to walk to the ring next month.

After making his debut in 2020, Paul has defeated the likes of Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz. As for Tyson, who has a professional record of 50-6-2, the 58-year-old is arguably one of the greatest heavyweights in the history of the sport and has defeated the likes of Frank Bruno, Michael Spinks, Larry Holmes and Marvis Frazier.

Despite being one of the biggest names in boxing, many have been left offended after the fight is being billed as 'Paul vs Tyson.' 'The Problem Child,' who holds a professional record of 10-1, is vastly inexperienced and is yet to challenge himself against the top stars of the sport.

One individual who has been left flabbergasted with the event being dubbed 'Paul vs Tyson' is the 58-year-old's friend and MMA manager, Ali Abdelaziz. Speaking to Kevin Iole, he said: "Listen, if I'm fighting Mike Tyson, I want Mike Tyson's name to be first. Nobody knows who Jake Paul is. Jake Paul went to a PFL event and got booed out of the building, nobody gives a s*** about Jake Paul. He can't sell 100,000 pay-per-views. The only reason, he's using Mike Tyson to be relevant, he [Paul] is irrelevant."

He added: Let's be real, honestly, if it was me, I'd never want to fight somebody who is older than me. But he [Paul] is weak. He wants to pray on somebody older. But, I never doubt Mike Tyson. He trains with my friend Rafael Cordeiro, they're having a great camp, they keep pushing it. And guess what, I'm all the way for Mike Tyson."

Tyson recently revealed he was struggling to walk after completing six rounds of sparring - further adding concern for his health ahead of the bout. The American recently admitted to being a 'junkie' and has previously confessed to smoking weed every day as well as micro-dosing magic mushrooms to help him recover between sessions before his last fight with Jones Jr. Tyson sensationally claimed that he was even high during the fight itself.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, when Tyson was asked if he intends to be high during his bout with Paul, he replied: “I’m going to be so high off life, yeah." Kimmel then asked: “Will you be high on marijuana, as well?" Tyson replied: "That’s a possibility, too." The host then commented: "Oh no my bet is getting lower as we talk."
