After the first Hero upgrade SBC was released earlier this month, EA Sports is set to release a new EA FC 25 Max 88 Hero SBC into Ultimate Team very soon.

The power curve in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team is increasing rapidly each week. We've already received promos full of meta, high-rated players like RTTK Team 1, RTTK Team 2, Total Rush Team 1 and Total Rush Team 2, while EA Sports always tries to include a high-rated player in each TOTW squad, with Harry Kane predicted to feature in the upcoming TOTW 6 squad.

With so many good players available in packs and high-rated fodder becoming more common, EA has started to release SBCs into Ultimate Team to give players somewhere to put their fodder, with the EA FC 25 Max 88 Hero SBC up next. A max 87 Hero SBC was released not too long ago in Ultimate Team, while the first Icon upgrade SBC was released in-game last week.

The EA FC 25 Max 88 Hero SBC allows players to submit some squads in exchange for a pack containing one Ultimate Team Hero player item, with the rating capped at 88 overall. With only nine Hero items higher-rated than 88, there's a whopping 74 Heroes available to pack.

EA FC 25 Max 88 Hero SBC: release time

Leaker @FutPoliceLeaks revealed that the Hero SBC is coming to Ultimate Team, with the EA FC 25 Max 88 Hero SBC release time 6pm BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT on Wednesday, October 23. This hasn't been confirmed by EA yet, but based on the past Hero and Icon upgrade SBC release times, this should be when it drops in-game.

With the recent Max 87 Icon SBC costing around 200k to complete, we expect that the EA FC 25 Max 88 Hero SBC will cost a similar amount. On the other hand, the players you want to avoid are Lars Ricken, Nwankwo Kanu, Tim Cahill, Jorge Campos, Clint Dempsey, Mohamed Noor, Jari Litmanen, Peter Crouch, Dimitar Berbatov, Aleksandr Mostovoi, and Eder Militao, with all of these players currently priced below 50k.
