British boxing fans are in for a real treat as former world champion Terri Harper is set to take on unbeaten star Rhiannon Dixon in a WBO lightweight title fight on Saturday night.

At 10-0, Dixon continues to go strength-to-strength as she looks to establish herself as a top star in the lightweight division. After winning the vacant Commonwealth female lightweight title and then the vacant European female lightweight title against Vicky Wilkinson and Katharina Thanderz, the 29-year-old went one better in her last fight, defeating Karen Elizabeth Carabajal to win the vacant WBO female lightweight title.

Harper has the opportunity to become a world champion once again, but knows she's in for a tough test. The 27-year-old was last in action back in March when she was stopped by Sandy Ryan in the fourth round in a shot at the WBO welterweight title. With crucial experience on her side in world title fights, Harper is eager to reign again following a period that saw memorable clashes against Natasha Jonas and Alycia Baumgardner.

What time will Rhiannon Dixon vs Terri Harper start tonight?

The fight will take place at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, England and is set to start at 7pm. Terri Harper is set to make the walk to the ring first at around 9.30pm with Rhiannon Dixon set to follow immediately after. The two stars will then touch gloves just after 10pm before the first bell sounds. The fight should not start later than this but could be brought forward if the undercard fights are completed earlier than expected.

Rhiannon Dixon: "I still can't believe it when I'm referred to as a world champion. I genuinely can't believe it. I feel like it's just the beginning now. I can't wait to see what's next. It’s boosted my confidence massively. When I was first on DAZN cards, I had a bit of imposter syndrome as I’d only had seven white-collar fights. Going from Commonwealth to European champion to world champion has boosted my confidence. I belong at this stage."

Terri Harper: "The body is feeling the best it's ever felt. I feel like a new person. "It's nice not to be carrying around all of that extra muscle and that extra weight. I just feel like I've found this free speed. In training, it's easier to train. I think for the first time I've actually enjoyed the weight cut. Pardon the pun but it has made me hungrier for the win on Saturday night. I’m a big fan of Rhiannon. She's very fast and her boxing style is really nice, but I have to look at what I'm good at."
