Police appeal for witnesses after 30 Nottingham Forest Women kits stolen from car

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing to the public in a bid to track down 30 missing kits belonging to Nottingham Forest Women which were taken from the boot of a car

A police investigation has been launched after 30 Nottingham Forest Women kits were stolen from the boot of a car.

The kits, which include training gear, are easily recognisable due to the sponsor on the front of the shirts and belong to a senior official in the Women's team. Nottinghamshire Police have urged the public to keep their eyes peeled for the stolen kits which were pinched from the official's car on September 12 and are unique to the Women's team.

A spokesperson for the force also said that the kits will have the player's names on the back along with numbers while not many of the shits from the Women's team have been sold. They stated: "The shirts are distinctive due to the sponsor being unique to the Women's Team. "Anyone with information about the theft is asked to ring Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 098 of September 12. It's believed the kits were swiped from the operations manager of the women's team." The team are currently in fine form at the top of the National League Northern Premier Division table after seven games, having won five and drawn two.

While the men's kits are now sponsored by Asian digital sports platform Kaiyun Sports, the women's team kits continue to be sponsored by energy company E.on Next, reports Nottinghamshire Live. Forest confirmed that the kits were pinched from a car belonging to the Women's Operations Manager.
