Jose Mourinho's influencer daughter Matilde ties the knot in stunning ceremony

Matilde Mourinho married her long term partner Danny Graham in a stunning luxury ceremony in Portugal - the pair got engaged in August 2021 after meeting when she was 19

Jose Mourinho's daughter, influencer Matilde has married her property consultant partner Danny Graham in a stunning Portuguese wedding.

The 28-year-old jewellery designer tied the knot at a family farm in Azeitão with 300 of the couple's family and friends present. The pair have been dating since 2016, with Matilde taking him on a holiday to Portugal, where he met her grandparents. He popped the question in August last year, before jetting off on a hen do with her mum and a group of friends this summer.

Matilde's stunning ceremony took place on Saturday, with her football manager dad, 61, organising a dinner for 80 of her guests the night before the wedding, at winery José Maria da Fonseca House Museum, according to Spanish paper Marca.

Fashion school graduate Matilde wore a white lace dress with a scalloped neckline and an off-the-shoulder design. She accessorised with diamond earrings and wore her long hair in a sleek low bun.

Her new husband looked dapper in a classic black suit and bow tie, matching his brides dainty bouquet with a white boutonnière.

Guests shared videos and photos of the wedding on social media, showing the pair's first dance together, and another at their romantic reception dinner, with candles, plants and hanging vines.

Matilde spoke about her excitement before she married Danny on the By Annabelle podcast, explaining: "I am so happy at the idea of having all my friends and family together to celebrate in the same place. It’s non-negotiable that my friends and family are there. The day can be as perfect as you dream it can be, but if the people who you would want to share it with are not there, then it’s not worth it."

She added: "Obviously, I don’t want it to rain."

Matilde's long-time partner is a director and co-founder of the property consultancy company Agace and Graham. It isn't clear if the couple will start a family one day, but Mourinho has already said he'd love to become a grandad.

In a 2022 interview with Esquire after winning the Conference League, former Manchester United manager Mourinho revealed that he's likely to get a tattoo commemorating the birth of his first grandchild. "Football-wise I don't think I'll get any more (tattoos)," the ex-Chelsea and Real Madrid boss answered. This one I promised everyone; the idea was to get a unique tattoo that only I could have: the three European cups won. The next one I might get if my son or daughter had a baby girl or boy; it would be a special gift and a tattoo could be a nice way to celebrate it."

Despite being the daughter of one of football's greatest-ever managers, Matilde is a success in her own right having graduated with a master's degree from the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design in August 2021.
