What Ruben Amorim is doing at Old Trafford on first visit as Manchester United manager
by Mark Wakefield · Manchester Evening NewsRuben Amorim is the new head coach at Manchester United and is seemingly already making himself at home in his new surroundings.
United confirmed Amorim as Erik ten Hag's successor earlier this month, with Ruud van Nistelrooy leaving his role at Old Trafford after serving as the club's interim manager. Amorim will bring his backroom staff from Sporting Lisbon to United and will be working at Carrington over the international break ahead of his first match in charge against Ipswich Town on November 24.
Most of United's players are currently away on international duty, and it's nearly two weeks before Amorim will take charge of his first Premier League match. Amorim, though, is already at work in Manchester while the international break is underway.
Portuguese news outlet O Jogo has reported that Amorim will be at Old Trafford on Tuesday in one of his first official days as United's new head coach. The report claims that Amorim will have two jobs on the agenda on his visit to United's home stadium.

It has been reported that Amorim will be taking part in a photo shoot with the club's media team as one of his first jobs. The second will involve the 39-year-old giving interviews with United's in-house media team, MUTV, as he speaks to supporters for the first time since taking charge at Old Trafford.
Amorim's final match in charge of Sporting was the 4-2 victory over Braga in the Portuguese top flight on Sunday. The new United head coach is still awaiting to obtain a visa before officially being able to take charge of training at Carrington, but the club do not expect there to be any issues in this regard.
