Viktor Gyokeres leaks Ruben Amorim's Man United plans after Man City thrashing
by Bruna Reis · Manchester Evening NewsViktor Gyokeres has confirmed that Ruben Amorim, will be bringing several staff members with him to Manchester United.
Amorim, who is set to officially take over at United on November 11, still has one game left in charge of Sporting - an away match against Braga on November 10. His final home game saw Sporting secure a resounding 4-1 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League, with Gyokeres netting a hat-trick and Maximiliano Araujo also scoring.
While the exact composition of Amorim's backroom team at United remains unconfirmed, it is reported that he plans to bring four coaches and a sports scientist with him from Sporting. Speaking about Amorim's departure, Gyokeres said: "We will miss him a lot. We've done amazing things together. We will miss him and the other guys in the staff who will leave. We have to look forward and attack the next challenge ahead of us."

Reflecting on the match, he said: "It's always nice to score and even better to score a hat-trick. Most important was to win the game so it was a brilliant night for us. We knew it was going to be tough and we didn't start off well.
"We knew they would give us space and we could have scored more than four to be fair. They could have scored more as well. You need to raise your level when you play better opponents. I tried to keep doing what I've been doing."
Amorim, however, sought to downplay the significance of the result, adding: "What I can tell you is that this [result] doesn't mean anything in particular - don't take anything from this. We cannot transport one reality to another. Manchester United cannot play the way we play and we will have to adapt.
"[The result] it's misleading, we were very lucky today, but the feeling with my players, the way they celebrate with the fans was very special. I take this with me but when I arrive to the Premier League it is a different world, different pressure. It will be fun, very fun, and I'm ready for the challenge."
