Erik ten Hag's Man United fate predicted as sack timeline decided

by · Manchester Evening News

Erik ten Hag will be given a temporary reprieve at Manchester United,\ albeit a Supercomputer predicts that it will only last until the end of the month.

The Reds' current boss found himself in hot water last week after a disappointing defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. Draws against Porto in the Europa League and Aston Villa did little to lift the mood surrounding his tenure.

MEN Sport reported on Monday that Thomas Tuchel is being lined up by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and co. should they decide to part ways with Ten Hag. Ratcliffe, Dan Ashworth and Sir Dave Brailsford are among the United decision-makers who are attending a 'routine' meeting in London to discuss the first team and, inevitably, the future of the manager.

A decision is expected this week and while it may seem like Ten Hag's days are numbered, the SportsCasting Supercomputer believes the Dutchman will be handed a stay of execution. However, following the international break, it is expected United will fall to back-to-back defeats after the Brentford game - against Fenerbahce and West Ham - which will ultimately seal his fate.

In fact, the Supercomputer goes as far as to predict that Ten Hag will be fired on Sunday, October 27 which is the day of the trip to the London Stadium. The Supercomputer has been created using the help of AI technology.

It has made its decision on Ten Hag's fate after receiving prompts about several factors including; recent form, money spent in transfer windows, popularity among fans and Premier League track record.
