NPFL: Kwara United unlucky in defeat to Abia Warriors – Sanni

Kwara United head coach, Tunde Sanni says they were unlucky to lose against Abia Warriors.

Sunday Megwo’s lone strike earned Abia Warriors a 1-0 win over Kwara United in Sunday’s matchday 6 fixture at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

Sanni said he would work on the lapses identified in the game.

“We are very unlucky with the loss to Abia Warriors in the game,” Sanni stated in a post-match interview.

“We missed a lot of scoring chances which really reflected in the result.

“We will go back to the drawing board and improve in our next game.”

Kwara United will face Sunshine Stars in a midweek fixture on Wednesday.
