One major surprise the model is calling for at the 2024 Sanderson Farms Championship: Mackenzie Hughes (25-1), a two-time PGA Tour champion and one of the top favorites, stumbles this week and barely cracks the top 10. Hughes won this event in 2022 and has secured four top-10 finishes in 2024, which includes a T-4 showing at the Procore Championship in September. 

However, Hughes could be dealing with fatigue after representing the International Team at last week's Presidents Cup, where he posted a 1-3-0 record. In addition, Hughes has struggled with accuracy off the tee, ranking 146th in driving accuracy (55.12%). He's also been widely inaccurate with his irons, ranking 137th in strokes gained: approach to green (-0.275) and 160th in greens in regulation percentage (62.38%).
