Willy Hutchinson promises Joshua Buatsi KO win as Scottish boxing star tunes out outsider tag

The Scot faces undefeated Englishman Buatsi for the interim WBO light-heavyweight title this weekend

A pumped Willy Hutchinson insists he will be looking for the knockout victory against Joshua Buatsi in Saturday's Wembley boxing bonanza and doesn't care that he was once again been ranked as the underdog by bookmakers.

The Scot faces undefeated Englishman Buatsi for the interim WBO light-heavyweight title on the stacked undercard of world heavyweight title clash between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois, with the winner then set to earn a shot at the victor of the undisputed 168 title meeting between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol.

Carstairs boxer Hutchinson comes into the bout off the back of a career best display against former world title challenger Craig Richards in Saudi Arabia back in June in a fight very few gave him a chance in. And despite being priced as an 11/5 outsider, the 26-year-old says he pays no attentions to the odds as he plots ending Buatsi's flawless record.

Speaking after Friday's live weigh-in at Trafalgar Square, he said: "Listen, he's not too big now is he? One more sleep and we are going to get it on and I am going to knock this fella out. Come on London!

"To be honest with you I couldn't really care (about being underdog) I am just ready to rock and roll and get into that ring to show everyone what the Hutch train is all about. I'm going to have some good food and a good sleep. Let's get it on baby."
